Hi beauties! It has been a very long time since I have posted, so I apologize about that! I am back and ready to post. 😊 Today I wanted to do a review on the September Boxycharm that I received in the mail a couple days ago. I have not actually tried any of these products on yet, so this will be almost more of a first impression/haul type review. I hope you enjoy xx.
The first product in the box is the one that I am by far the most excited about. This is the PUR Soiree Diaries Eyeshadow palette, and it retails for $34.00. You can purchase it off the PUR website here. I think that this palette is absolutely beautiful, and has tons of neutral shades that are perfect for travel. It has 8 mattes, and 4 shimmers, and they feel extremely creamy. The mattes have decent pigmentation, not the best I have seen but also not the worst, and they feel very creamy for being matte. The shimmers are definitely the best part of this palette though, as they are very pigmented. I cannot wait to use this palette on my eyes, so like this post if you would like to see a tutorial with it!
The next product in the box is this Briogeo Don’t Despair Repair Deep Conditioning Mask. This retails for $20.00 and you can purchase it on the Briogeo website here. I do believe that I have tried this in the past, and it was pretty good. The card says that it is a weekly treatment to restore essential hydration and enhance hair’s resilience to protect against future damage. You can purchase it in a squeeze tube like this, or it also comes in a bigger tub size.
The next product in the box is this Face Perfecting Brush by bareMinerals. This retails for $28.00 and you can purchase it on the bareMinerals website here. I have not tried this brush yet, but I don’t know how it will perform with my foundations since I know that it is specifically supposed to be used with a serum foundation that bareMinerals sells. It has very few stars on the website, and most of those reviews are saying that the bristles are constantly shedding, so we will see how I feel about this brush after I use it a few times.
The next product in the box was this Loose Blush by Studio Makeup. This retails for $35.00, but I could not find it on the website. I tried to swatch it for you, but as you can tell I ended up spilling it everywhere. 😣 I am definitely not a fan of loose blushes, and probably will not be using this product.
The last product in this box is this Ultra Satin Lip by Colourpop in the color Strip. I absolutely love the formula on these, and this color is definitely one I will be using a lot. They retail for $6.00 and you can purchase them on the Colourpop website here. Side note – if you haven’t tried Colourpop products yet, you need to! They are awesome, and super cheap. I highly recommend all of their lipsticks and eyeshadows especially!
I am super disappointed, because an eyebrow pencil from MAC was supposed to be included in the box, and it was not. Other than that, this box was okay. I am extremely excited to use the eyeshadow palette and liquid lip, but other than that I don’t really care for the other three products. As I have mentioned before, Boxycharm is a monthly subscription box where you receive 5 full size products, and it retails for $21.00 a month. You can sign up here. I hope you enjoyed this first impression/review/haul. Please leave a like and a comment if you did, and keep an eye out for the tutorial on that palette. 😊
